Mud and Guts is a unique company offering a range of OUTDOOR ADVENTURE DAYS FOR CHILDREN. Aimed at primary school aged children (aged 5 to 11), and based in beautiful countryside on the Wiltshire-Dorset border, it provides a fun, exhilarating, educational alternative to days whiled away in front of a screen; Mud and Guts re-connects modern children with the natural world through games, quizzes and other activities in a varied, safe outdoor environment. Whether they are building their first dam or finding their first fossil, making a new friend of learning the difference between a fox hole and a badger set, your children are guaranteed an experience that they will want to repeat time and again.
Our OUTDOOR ADVENTURE DAYS FOR CHILDREN are divided into various categories, each designed to cater for your child’s needs and interests. As well as a wide range of half term and holiday activities, we have a year round bespoke birthday party service. At Mud and Guts, we offer a simple guarantee; an experience that is outside the everyday, where everyday is outside.
Do you want your children climbing trees and ropes instead of the walls, or building dens in the woods instead of in the sitting room? Then our fun packed days are for you, and them.
Our adventures cover a range of environments and themes. We roam from woodlands to river banks and also spend days on the coast.
With Young Rangers, Woods & Water Safari, M&G Outsiders and M&G Creative you will find something for everyone. Days are filled with games and activities to stimulate both body and mind and are designed to give an awareness to natural world learning.
Days of adventure, fun, smiles and some mud guaranteed.
Probably the only way to improve a Mud and Guts day is to add cake. So why not have a Mud and Guts birthday. You can come to M&G HQ where we will take care of everyone and everything- from games and food, to party bags and balloons- or, at an extra cost we can come to you. We have loads of themes and hair brained scheme’s to make any party go with a bang (in a nearly entirely responsible but very safe way). So head straight over to the birthday page to find out more.
A natural Pied Piper (with elements of the Peter Pan thrown in) Jamie King has built his business out of a natural affinity with children.
A hands on father of three, Jamie first spotted a gap in the market when a Star Wars themed treasure hunt, staged in local woodland for his son Jago’s 6th birthday party in 2011, had parents asking for more.
And so, the following Easter, Mud and Guts was born. What began with six children, a homemade quiz book and two rope swings has since grown into a blossoming business, with a devoted local following.
